HOTCUS Conference Comes to Middelburg
Hotcus exists to facilitate and promote scholarship in the field of twentieth century American history and used to meet in the UK. Now it is reaching out to other European countries. The featured key note speaker is Prof. Charles Postel from San Francisco State University. The program covers a wide range of topics. A great number of young scholars present the latest results of their research.
The Historians of the Twentieth Century United States (HOTCUS) Annual Conference, will take place at the Roosevelt Study Center, Middelburg, the Netherlands, between 20-22 June, 2012. The Annual Bryce Lecture will be delivered on the opening evening by Professor Charles Postel (San Francisco State University).

Established in 2007, HOTCUS exists to facilitate and promote scholarship in the field of twentieth century American history, which it does through an annual conference, an annual winter symposium on a specific theme, and through HOTCUS panel presentations at major conferences. Based in the United Kingdom, the organisation draws its membership from universities in Ireland, mainland Europe, the United States and other countries around the world.
