On Friday 30 October 2020 at 4 p.m. Liam Kennedy, Professor of American Studies and Director of the Clinton Institute for American Studies at University College Dublin, will give prior to the US presidential elections on 3 November 2020 an online lecture on "Trump's America."

Liam Kennedy

The Trump presidency has delivered a seismic shock to the American political system and more broadly to political culture and the public sphere in the US and beyond, given the influence of the US across the world.

This lecture discusses the shockwaves – including their impact on the presidential election – and asks if Trumpism will outlast Trump.

The lecture will be held online, using Microsoft Teams, at 16:00 on Friday 30 October. To attend, please follow this link: shorturl.at/gjH09. No registeration is required.
