TRAHA Winner Travel Report

TRAHA 2017 winner Renee de Groot has just returned from her visit to the North Dakota Badlands. Her report is now available.

Since 1987 the RSC/RIAS has awarded the Theodore Roosevelt American History Award (TRAHA) for  the best Master's thesis on American history defended at a Dutch university. The TRAHA is designed to stimulate the study of United States history and culture, and consists of a bust of Theodore Roosevelt and a trip to North Dakota. This year the award has been sponsored by the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation and the Province of Zeeland.

This year's TRAHA winner, Renee de Groot of the University of Amsterdam, has just returned from her visit to North Dakota. See here to read her remarkable travel report on her visit to the Badlands.

More information on the TRAHA can be found here.
