Watch: Conversations on the US Elections

In this ongoing "vodcast," we talk to experts on American studies throughout the Netherlands about the upcoming US presidential elections.

In the first of this series, Dario Fazzi and Cees Heere talk to Dr. George Blaustein, lecturer of American studies and president of the Netherlands American Studies Association (NASA). We wonder how to teach American studies in the age of Trump, and talk about George's 2019 piece in the New Republic on Joe Biden and the politics of grief.

This will be an ongoing series, leading up to the elections on 3 November. Next week, we will be speaking to Markha Valenta at the University of Utrecht on immigration, activism, and social exclusion.
