Hasse Witteman is the RIAS library intern from October to December 2025
Hasse has a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies at Leiden University. Currently, she is working on her two masters: North American Studies and Latin American Studies at Leiden University. Her focus is on international and political relations, during and right after the Cold War. She has a special interest in sustainable development and nature preservation, which she tries to incorporate within her personal research on the role of the US army in the Cold War and the development of sustainability measures within American legislature.
