Announcement of new Editor-in-Chief Netherlands American Studies Review (NASR)

Christine Mertens succeeds Debby Esmeé de Vlugt as Editor-in-Chief of the Netherlands American Studies Review (NASR).

Christine is a second-year PhD candidate at the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies. Her research focuses on the realities of legal constraints placed on the spatial mobility of free African Americans in the early nineteenth century.
