Isabel Peters is the RIAS academic intern from July to September 2026
She holds a BA in history and is currently in the process of completing her MA in North American Studies at Leiden University. Her academic interests centre on cultural and political history. She is especially fascinated by print culture – everything from magazines and newsletters to political publications produced by social movements – and what these sources reveal about activism and social changes. During her internship at RIAS, she will have the opportunity to develop new skills and broaden her knowledge on American history.
