Justin Hart was the 2nd RIAS Visiting Professor in American Studies from 18 September to 17 December 2017. He is an associate professor at Texas Tech University.
While at the RIAS, he worked on a new research project that investigates on the efforts by the Truman administration to introduce universal military training in the United States.
On 4 October 2017, Professor Hart delivered a public lecture on ‘The Rooseveltian Century in the Age of Trump.’ He was interviewed by Elsevier Weekblad journalist Tomasz Blom on topic. You can scroll to this article (in Dutch) here.
