The European Forum on US History invites scholars to present their research in the 2026–2027 seminar series. We welcome proposals on all aspects of US history, especially research exploring global, transatlantic, or comparative perspectives. We particularly encourage applications from scholars based in Europe or engaged with European scholarship on US history. Presentations may include work in progress, new projects, or recently completed research. The seminar series runs from September 2026 through the academic year, with monthly sessions hosted online (and occasionally in hybrid format) by the Forum’s partner institutions across Europe.
Who can apply?
We encourage applications from:
- Advanced PhD candidates
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Early-career scholars
- Established academics
Ideally, applicants should be based in Europe or connected to European scholarship on US history.

- Abstract (max. 300 words)
- Short bio (max. 150 words)
- Affiliation and contact details
- Any scheduling constraints
